Wild Fermentation

Are you interested in making your own natural, tasty and cheap probiotics, but put off by complicated instructions or the risk that they go wrong and make you sick?

Then let’s explore together the art and the ecology of wild fermentation!

In this workshop, you will

learn to make how to make from scratch, with no starters:

  • sauerkraut
  • ginger beer
  • beet kvass
  • grain-free sourdough pancakes
  • apple cider vinegar
  • pickled lemons and plums
  • soy-free and gluten-free miso and tamari

These wild ferments are awesome because:

  • they are delicious, probiotic and very cheap to make at home
  • increase the nutrients in your food (especially B vitamins)
  • and also make food easier to digest, reducing toxins and antinutrients
  • allow you to store produce for years with very little effort
  • they help you connect more deeply and intimately with the place you live in
  • and they also help you connect with traditional cultures around the world

Come join us on November 6th from 6 to 9 pm!
